Job Title: Customer-Facing Sales Representative (Solar Energy)

Position Overview:
As a Customer-Facing Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by identifying and engaging with potential customers interested in adopting solar energy solutions. You will be responsible for guiding prospects through the sales process, educating them about the benefits of solar power, and ultimately securing commitments for our solar products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, door-to-door canvassing, and participation in community events.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments and consult with prospects to understand their energy requirements, financial goals, and sustainability objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with prospects, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections with professionalism and empathy.
  • Closing Deals: Effectively handle objections, negotiate terms, and eventually close sales agreements to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Post-Sale Support: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to installation, providing ongoing support and assistance to customers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry or related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to grasp complex concepts related to solar energy systems.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,193.44-$138,281.73 per year
