Handling Systems International (HSI) is a well-established, family owned, innovative design and crane manufacturing company for the industrial and material handling industry. With 62 years in business and a large international distribution network, Handling Systems is looking to grow their market share with current product redesign and new product development.
The Sales Engineer will work with H.S.I.'s sales staff and internal engineers to prepare proposals for custom products.
- Review specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to determine product design requirements.
- Use material selection tools and H.S.I. design standards to estimate product sale price
- Develop tools and processes to streamline product pricing process. Improve the crane pricing process in order to reduce quotation turn-around time.
- Maintain proactive and collaborative communication with the sales and engineering teams to ensure proper information transfer and cranes that meet customer’s technical requirements
- Communicate with sales staff to support large custom project quotations and create solutions for unique material handling applications.
- Meet urgent organizational needs while maintaining a strategic approach, improving processes, workflow, and data management practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
