Splitsville Entertainment is Canada’s premier family entertainment center! Our modern facilities combine state-of-the-art 10 pin bowling, high-quality casual dining, arcades, laser tag, and other entertainment options to make your visit a one-of-a-kind experience.

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the Event Sales department and ensuring all team members are taking care of our Guests. The Event Sales Manager promotes, sells and plans events for Splitsville Entertainment Guests. They will need to sell the event space, food and beverage, bowling, arcade and laser tag packages…  overall the Event Sales Manager is selling and planning a FUN & EXCITING EXPERIENCE for our guests!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a mentor and resource to team members and direct reports
  • Develop sales plan for targeting new leads; prospect new events and establish new clients; actively track all leads and following up diligently to all inquiries
  • Build and retain guest relationships, to secure repeat business and great word of mouth referrals
  • Ensure all events are run smoothly; provide team members with all necessary information, solve issues as needed, check in with guests to ensure everything is going well
  • Follow up after each event with client to obtain feedback, maintain rapport and suggest future bookings with Splitsville
  • Work towards personal quarterly and yearly sales targets; ensure Event Sales team is on track to meeting their individual sales targets
  • Sell meeting spaces, party rooms, food and beverage packages, entertainment packages
  • Meet with Events Sales Coordinator, Centre Manager and the Splitsville Sales Team weekly to discuss weekly plan and targets
  • Provide all the information necessary to Director of Sales for weekly reports and tracking
  • Track all marketing and promotional materials where necessary
  • Update and maintain content on our social media sites regularly within corporate standards and guidelines
  • Attend and facilitate offsite promotional events within the community to raise brand awareness and obtain leads for future event bookings
  • Provide an excellent experience for all clients and their guests - Create an atmosphere of positivity and fun!
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two years of sales customer service experience
  • At least two years of experience managing people
  • Event planning experience an asset
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be available to work evening and weekend events as needed
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Outgoing personality
  • Organization, prioritizing and multi-tasking
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Social media skills

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
