The Company:
Sunset West, a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation (NASDAQ: HOFT), is currently recruiting for a Territory Account Coordinator to work in our High Point, NC location. Hooker Furnishings Corporation, in its 100th year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods, leather furniture, fabric-upholstered furniture and outdoor furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets.
The Position:
The purpose of this role is to engage our customers by surpassing their expectations in innovative ways that create loyalty and tangible business growth. We are looking for an adaptable and trainable individual who loves working with people to staff our Territory Account Coordinator team. This is a great opportunity to learn about Hooker Furniture and engage with team members, sales representatives, and customers!
This individual will:
- Provide a “Best-In-Class” service experience in all aspects of communication.
- Foster strong relationships with sales reps and dealers.
- Have direct contact with dealers and reps by e-mail, phone, and chat regularly, addressing status, order changes, shipping, cancellations, ordering samples, product questions or product availability.
- Appropriately respond in a prompt and sympathetic manner to positive and negative interactions.
- Proofread all orders for accuracy and manage from entry to shipment.
- Issue necessary invoice and payment links, help reconcile payment history, and partner with our internal credit teams to ensure timely accounting application.
- Willing to investigate order and payment history as needed.
- Help identify process improvements to support efficient and accurate operations.
Candidates that will be a great fit will have:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Experience working as part of a team to meet common objectives.
- Job history and experience reflecting dependability and reliability.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365- Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience in the D365 operating system is a plus.
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset to implement and assess best practices.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Shift: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
