Sales Director & Client Relations for Energy 1031 Advisors, LLC
Base salary range of $60,000 - $120,000, plus a generous commission structure based on sales performance.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven **Sales Director & Client Relations** to lead business growth and expand our client base. Position will report directly to the CEO/Owner. The primary focus of this role is to drive new business through sales, attract accredited investors, and maximize revenue for our Energy 1031 Interest Programs. While maintaining relationships with existing clients is an important part of the job, the main responsibility is to generate new sales and expand the company’s presence in the energy investment sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Sales (70%):
- Lead the company’s sales efforts, focusing on growing the client base and securing new business through Energy 1031 Interest Programs.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to attract new accredited investors, using a consultative approach to highlight the benefits of Energy 1031 programs.
- Build a robust sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, industry events, cold outreach, and referrals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, utilizing performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales materials, presentations, and client communications that support business development goals.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, providing them with tailored investment options that align with their financial objectives.
- Continuously identify new market opportunities to expand the company's offerings and drive revenue growth.
Client Relations (30%):
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for existing clients, providing updates on investment performance, program developments, and tax benefits related to the Energy 1031 Programs.
- Organize client webinars, meetings, and presentations to showcase new investment opportunities and provide guidance on optimizing portfolios.
- Address client inquiries and ensure high levels of satisfaction through effective communication and timely responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to distribute quarterly reports and other key financial documents to clients, ensuring transparency and clarity.
Account Management (as needed):
- Oversee key client accounts to ensure continued satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Proactively manage ongoing client needs, helping them navigate their investments, and providing recommendations for portfolio adjustments.
- Track and document all client interactions and updates in the company’s CRM system for seamless follow-up and account management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sales, or a related field - (preferred)
- Current Real Estate License preferred
- 3+ years of experience in sales and business development (required) in the energy, real estate, or investment sectors (preferred)
- Proven ability to close sales deals, generate new business, and grow revenue.
- Understanding of 1031 Exchange regulations, non-recourse financing, and/or real estate license is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a track record of building strong client relationships.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software applications
Compensation:
- Base salary range of $60,000 - $120,000, depending on experience, plus a generous commission structure based on sales performance.
