Blue Mountain Construction Services in Vacaville, CA, has an Immediate opening for a New Homes Sales Consultant.
  • Must have a valid Real Estate License.

JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Associate is responsible for managing sales performance and margin enhancement efforts for each Community. This position is responsible for understanding the regional market and working closely with the region's operating team to ensure that goals are met in a timely manner, aligning with the Blue Mountain Communities brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Associate must have the skills, ability, and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Responsible for the selling and closing new construction homes at Blue Mountain Communities.
  • Understand competitive marketplace and feed back to management on relative price position, product specifications, sales releases, lot premiums, options, broker cooperation, and incentives.
  • Use competitive market understanding to make recommendations to management team and ensure community is positioned appropriately relative to key competition.
  • Generate leads through community and broker outreach.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with realtors. This includes visiting real estate offices, networking, and conducting business with realtors.
  • Work with Marketing team and management to ensure website is positioning and pricing are accurate. Review base prices and quick move-in homes. Provide feedback
  • corrections as necessary.
  • Ensure point of sale materials are in-stock and accurate.
  • Review MLS listing to ensure accuracy.
  • Present and demonstrate homes and community features positively and proactively.
  • Coordinate with buyers and lenders as necessary.
  • Sell and contract homes.
  • Work with buyers and guide the option selection process.
  • Review all sales paperwork for accuracy and coordinate with management, escrow and lending teams on all sales documentation needed.
  • Participate in weekly Sales Calls/Meetings
  • Participate in Sales Training
  • Send videos to all buyers on the status of their home
  • Create videos to send to leads/prospects
  • Work collaboratively with construction and service teams to deliver great products and services to buyers.
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction during the buying, construction and closing process.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals and objectives.
  • Track and manage progress of leads, traffic, outreach and sales through CRM system and tools.
  • Field temp calls regarding questions, concerns etc. and direct them to the appropriate channels at corporate as necessary.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • 3-5 years of residential new homes sales experience including knowledge of escrow, lending and sales training.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Geographical knowledge of Northern California and the Sacramento region is a plus.
  • Must be organized and self-motivated.
  • Associates Degree and/or relevant experience is required.
  • Must have a valid Real Estate License.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the physical ability required.
Work is performed primarily indoors with regular visits to model homes, inventory units, homes under construction and around the community under development. Visits to competitive communities is also required. Equipment used includes standard office equipment i.e.: computer, telephone, printer and copier. Physical demands include sitting, repetitive use of hands, reading, typing, grasping, walking, standing, bending over, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling and light lifting as required to fulfill job duties. Hours and days are primarily Thursday through Monday. Position requires interpersonal contact with Blue Mountain employees, customers, and trades.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive a commission. To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all California based jobs. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar industry companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The base pay range for this position is: $70,000.00.
Commission: Up to $105,000.00
