Summary:
Vecta Environmental Services is seeking an experienced HydroVac Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts and driving sales growth for our hydro-excavation services. Your expertise in HydroVac operations, combined with strong relationship-building skills, will be instrumental in expanding our client base and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges related to hydro excavation projects.
- Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to generate new business and expand our market presence in hydro excavation services.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities with industrial clients, municipalities, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and quotes for hydro vac projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Project Coordination and Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, technicians, and operations staff, to coordinate hydro vac projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, addressing any issues or deviations as they arise.
- Technical Expertise:
- Leverage your expertise in hydro vac operations to provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in hydro excavation.
- Assist in the development of training programs and materials for staff members involved in hydro vac operations.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project-related documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, project status, and market trends for management review.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies and client satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the hydro excavation or industrial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of hydro vac operations, equipment, and applications are a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities, meet sales targets, and drive revenue growth.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
