Job Summary:
As an Online Sales Consultant at Main Street Homes, you will be responsible for managing and converting online leads into potential homebuyers through effective communication, follow-up, and marketing strategies. You will serve as the primary point of contact for online inquiries, working closely with prospects to identify their needs and match them with the appropriate community and floor plan. By utilizing lead-management software and monitoring online marketing efforts, you will track, report, and enhance the online sales funnel. Your goal is to drive appointments with Onsite New Home Consultants, ensuring a seamless transition from online to in-person interactions.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Respond promptly to all email and phone leads.
  • Qualify each lead based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Provide consistent follow-up to online prospects, aiming to set appointments with Onsite New Home Consultants.
  • Offer prospects relevant information and marketing materials.
  • Handle incoming calls and voicemail leads through the sales line.
  • Assist prospects in identifying the best community and floor plan options.
  • Utilize lead-management software for tracking and managing prospects.
  • Develop and execute ongoing email campaigns to engage potential buyers.
  • Track and report lead activity and sales conversion ratios.
  • Regularly review website content and communicate necessary updates to the marketing team.
  • Monitor third-party websites and online advertisements.
  • Research and report on competitors' online activities.
  • Provide monthly website analytics reports.
  • Serve as the internal expert and trainer for marketing CRM (Lasso), ensuring online forms capture data accurately in the CRM system.

Education/Skills Required:

  • Minimum of two years of sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven communication skills, especially via email and phone.
  • Experience with sales contact management databases; experience with Lasso is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer use and technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and follow a proven sales process.

Remote Work Requirements:

  • If working remotely, a dedicated, quiet workspace is required to ensure productivity and professionalism.
  • High-speed internet access is essential.
  • Residency Requirement: Candidates for this position must reside within the state of Virginia. Although the role is remote, it involves occasional in-state travel and participation in company events or meetings. Main Street Homes cannot accommodate out-of-state applicants for this position due to state-specific operational needs.
