The new, dual branded Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites Easton is looking for a dynamic hotel sales professional to join our team! Our beautiful hotel boasts 240-guestrooms, over 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space as well as the franchised restaurant, Johnny's Italian Steakhouse. This is a full-service hotel and DOS position. The DOS will have the responsibilities of managing multiple sales managers, completing annual marketing plans as well as monthly and annual budgets.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic sales plans. This is a leadership role that requires strong sales skills, market analysis, negotiation abilities, and the ability to effectively manage and develop client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team success
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate those markets
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in order to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Prior Delphi/Sales Force experience strongly encouraged
- Prior Hilton and/or OnQ experience strongly preferred
-Prior Hotel Sales Experience is required
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or Senior Sales Manager in a hotel setting
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing a sales team
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to negotiate and close deals
- Demonstrated experience in account management and business development
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends and customer data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as needed
