JOB OVERVIEW
A self-starter with a client-first mentality and superior attention to detail, the Account Manager nurtures long-term partnerships and generates revenue by creating and managing strategic relationships. With an excellent understanding of our services, digital marketing and clients’ goals, you will craft comprehensive strategies and present opportunities to existing clients.
Reporting directly to the Account Director and working alongside our Account Services Team, you are also flexible amidst changing client priorities, timelines, and goals, while capitalizing on opportunities to add value to client-campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Management & Strategy:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Periphery Digital and our diverse clientele, ensuring a seamless flow of communication and a deep understanding of their goals across various industries, including but not limited to real estate.
- Lead and facilitate strategy sessions, sales meetings, and regular performance check-ins, crafting solutions that align with client objectives while fostering long-term growth.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Develop strategic partnerships that are mutually beneficial, leveraging your understanding of digital and media strategies to drive client success.
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Architect and recommend digital media strategies that achieve client goals, utilizing a mix of industry benchmarks and innovative approaches to set and exceed KPIs.
- Proactively explore new markets and opportunities, presenting findings and strategies through compelling reports and presentations.
- Synthesize campaign data into comprehensive reports, highlighting successes and areas for growth, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Supportive Sales Strategy:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team, contributing to RFPs and pitch decks with strategic insights that underline our value proposition.
- Emphasize account management's role in understanding client needs and crafting strategies that resonate, rather than direct sales.
Team Collaboration & Growth:
- Work in tandem with the media and production teams to ensure flawless campaign execution that meets client objectives.
- Foster a collaborative environment that values each team member's strengths, encouraging open communication and collective problem-solving.
Professional Development & Industry Insight:
- Continuously enhance your understanding of the broader industry landscape, staying ahead of trends and technologies that can impact our clients' success.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Account Management role, ideally within an agency setting, demonstrating a proven ability to deliver exceptional client service.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for clear and persuasive articulation of complex strategies.
- Proficient in conflict resolution, employing question-based discovery techniques to accurately diagnose client challenges and opportunities.
- Intermediate knowledge of digital marketing, media, and content marketing.
- Familiarity with the Vancouver/Toronto real-estate market, coupled with knowledge of and experience with ethnic marketing platforms (WeChat, RED, etc.), reflecting our diverse client base and market reach.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client management.
