Company Description

To better serve our growing customer base, LYNUM-Progressive Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to our team in support of our Western Canadian salesforce.

We are a distributor of industrial and process equipment headquartered in Surrey, BC, and a member of the LYNUM Group, which also includes two manufacturing companies, Progressive Rubber Industries (PRI) in Kamloops, BC, and Progressive Polyurethane Products (P3) in Surrey, BC, that specialize in abrasion and corrosion wear resistance products primarily for the mining, aggregate, energy, and municipal sectors.

LYNUM-Progressive Industries has operated a satellite office and warehouse in Saskatoon for over 25 years.

Role and Duties

As a Saskatoon, SK, based Customer Service Representative for LYNUM-Progressive Industries, this position will support our manufacturing companies and sales force for all LYNUM’s products and services, which will include but is not limited to:

· Support the Western Canadian outside salesforce by fielding and directing customer inquiries, soliciting quotes from our suppliers, generating quotes & proposals, executing orders from our customers and to suppliers

· General office duties: phone answering, filing, courier, credit & account setups etc.

· Receive orders from suppliers and prepare orders for shipments to our customers

· Establish rapport and represent LYNUM professionally with a diverse range of customers and industries

· Identify customer needs and sales opportunities with the support of Technical Sales Reps

· Become knowledgeable with our products, target industries, and attend training as required

· Maintain CRM software with opportunities, contacts, supplier quotes, and proposal documents; basic work in accounting software to support order entry procedure

· Ensure profitability for our suppliers and manufacturers with the support of the Sales Manager

Qualifications & Experience

· Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills

· Must be excited to keep our client’s sites running by ensuring timely and accurate service, quotes, and product shipments

· Experience working for an industrial equipment supplier, and/or B2B sales organization is an asset

· A degree or diploma in business, bookkeeping or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is strongly valued

· The ability to work both independently as well as with a team is essential

· Demonstrated written, verbal, and digital communication skills, including computer & software competency to complete duties, experience generating quotes and proposals is highly valued

· A sense of urgency – someone who is results orientated and motivated by achieving goals and completing tasks with a high level of proficiency

Remuneration

LYNUM-Progressive Industries offers competitive compensation package including benefits and performance bonuses.

The level of compensation is commensurate with experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
