Showroom Sales Associate

In this role you will interact directly with our retail showroom clients and trade partners to provide an exceptional customer experience.

As a Showroom Sales Associate you will:

• Drive sales to meet and exceed personal and team sales goals through accountability, strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
• Manage and execute all stages of the sales process while providing superior customer service.
• Drive in showroom sales and assist with trade sales.
• Project management for all customers from design selection to order delivery.

New business development and account management:

• Identify and create new customers through building strong relationships with architects, builders/contractors, electricians, and interior designers.
• Assist showroom customers in product selections and purchases in a manner which develops and maintains long term relationships
• Source and follow up on leads to develop new business while collaborating with outside sales team to maximize sales growth.

Showroom Operations:

• Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized showroom appearance which will enhance sales
• Become proficient in the company’s order entry and operating system

Qualifications:

• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Positive, customer-service driven outlook
• Must be able to effectively deal with customers in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer-service
• Retail or related product experience a plus
• Showroom experience a plus
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work a flexible schedule including Saturday
• Moderate computer skills
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop and bend for long periods of time
• A pre-employment background check is also required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
