We are looking for a student in green tech (GT) industrial processes for a permanent plant operator position at our Bécancour plant.
PROCESS DEVELOPMENT OPERATOR
Work as an operator and complete your ACS in green tech industrial processes in Bécancour.
ACS PROGRAM DETAILS
Duration: 1,215 hours over 15 months.
Start date: January 2024.
Location: CEGEP de Trois-Rivières, Innofibre laboratory, and work on-site or from home.
Paid training: $20/hr.
You will receive training on: OHS, industrial process mathematics, chemistry, fluid mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics, regulation and automation, packaging and separation system, quality control and transformation processes.
405-hour internship at a purification plant in Bécancour.
Required education: Secondary V or experience and Secondary IV Math.
YOUR MISSION
Uphold occupational health and safety and environmental protection standards.
Help develop new procedures and standards to ensure the quality of the purified graphite.
Start up and shut down equipment and ensure it is in good working order at all times with regular inspections.
Manage and coordinate equipment servicing and maintenance.
Monitor indicators, control screens and performance; actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Take samples and conduct chemical and physical tests.
YOUR SKILLS PROFILE
A desire to successfully complete your ACS.
Be in good physical health.
Be available to work alternating days and nights as well as on weekends (continuous production); shifts of up to 12 hours (3 to 4 days a week).
