Position Overview:
The Inside Product Support Representative is responsible for the growth of the after-market products sold by Finning to an assigned customer base, assigned categories and specific opportunities. Using a consultative selling approach, achieve transaction sales targets by understanding our customers' unique business and needs.
Job Description:
  • Build positive relationships with new and lapsed customers to meet or exceed annual parts sales targets while achieving required profitability.
  • Develop cash sales and new prospect accounts into regular customers.
  • Fully engage with customers on every sales call to understand the customer needs and how we can support them.
  • Maintain accurate records of account details and equipment population and record, manage and report on activities and opportunities using Saleslink.
  • Work with the extended product support network including outside Product Support representatives, inside sales representatives and parts order entry teams.
  • Accountable for the successful sale of parts solutions to assigned customer base/product categories and regions. 150-200+ high volume customer base with 2M+ sales.
  • Achieve growth in Parts sales revenue and margin in line with targets.
  • Comfortable with the selling process and working through client objections to find the right solution for the customers through phone dialogue.
  • Develop call plans for customer base and prospect/cash accounts.
  • Work to resolve complex and technically challenging customer needs quickly and effectively.
Education & Experience:
  • 5+ years in sales or customer-facing role.
  • Strong sales orientation and drive to provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good Computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
