Job Description

Moore Packaging Corp. is currently seeking an Account Manager, reporting to the Director of Sales. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with B2B sales and new business development experience.

As an Account Manager, you will be predominantly on the road in a customer facing capacity. You will be responsible to prospect new customers, to schedule sales appointments and follow up with customer requests. Focus will be on identifying opportunities to introduce Moore Packaging and our amazing offerings, capabilities and design expertise to the Greater Toronto and Southwestern Ontario marketplace to develop a new sales pipeline, while maintaining an existing client base.

A detail-oriented position, the Account Manager will excel at juggling multiple client requests in a pleasant and professional manner, with the utmost speed and care. The primary role of the Account Manager is to build and retain business through customer contact, interaction, and support. You will effectively manage the sales cycle from contact to close. Your ultimate goal would be continued growth within your territory through development of strategic business relationships, while achieving profit margin and sales goals.

Education:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus in business studies or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Exposure or experience in a B2B environment, preferably in the packaging industry
  • Previous prospecting experience

  • Ability to respond to customers with courtesy, knowledge, personality, and speed
  • A clean driver abstract, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are conditions of employment in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prospect and drive client engagements daily, using multi-channel outreach, including email, phone, social media, and cold calling.
  • Help drive sales growth through new customer acquisition and surfacing of under-penetrated inbound pipeline
  • Identify and target emerging customers, to hop on discovery calls to learn more about what the customer is looking to achieve
  • Independently manage real-time sales pipeline with multiple prospects utilizing our CRM to document sales progress and drive these accounts simultaneously
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Moore Packaging Corp. and create a strong first impression with our customers
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify and qualify new account opportunities and become knowledgeable on the various products to develop strategies to successfully promote Moore Packaging Corp.
  • Schedule regular customer facing meetings, to increase Moore Packaging’s market share and maintain solid partnerships to gain new contracts while continuously selling Moore Packaging’s value proposition.
  • Work with Client Service Representative(s) to facilitate order flow and problem solve to ensure order fulfillment based on company and customer targets;
  • Work creatively and collaboratively with a design team using product knowledge to develop and sell design-based packaging solutions that meet the client’s business needs;
  • Forecast and analyze sales data/account metrics.
  • Effectively manage sales cycle from contact to close
  • Provide weekly status reports on sales prospects and leads.
  • Complete the AICC Packaging University within the first year of your employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
