Job Description

Boutique Wellness Studio is seeking an experienced General/Sales Manager to oversee sales and operations for our studio in Columbia, MD. We are looking for candidates with experience opening new wellness/fitness studio locations.

POSITION:
The General/Sales Manager will be responsible for driving studio sales and memberships. This role is comprised of 80-90% sales and 10-20% staff management and studio operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of fitness sales experience or membership sales preferred.
  • Confident in generating the majority of sales and training/coaching staff to sell.
  • Ability to work weekdays/nights/weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner.
  • Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
  • An affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Solid writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.

DUTIES:

  • Lead generation through Grass Roots Marketing and Networking with businesses.
  • Active outreach via phone calls/texts/emails and prospecting.
  • Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts.
  • Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts.
  • Train & supervise Sales Representatives and staff.
  • Proficiency in ClubReady (CRM), including time clock reports, payroll reports, etc.
  • Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service.
  • Collect outstanding dues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio.
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible.
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • This position offers competitive base pay, based on experience & performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
