Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Broker to join our team. As a Broker, you will be responsible for managing transportation logistics and ensuring the efficient movement of freight. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong negotiation skills and knowledge of logistics sales.

Duties:
- Manage transportation logistics, including coordinating with carriers, shippers, and receivers
- Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions
- Utilize software systems, such as AS400, to track and manage freight shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or concerns related to transportation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and account growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven experience in transportation management or 3PL industry
- Strong knowledge of logistics sales and account management
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable rates and contracts
- Proficiency in using software systems, such as AS400, for tracking and managing freight
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated accordingly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
