Customer Service Representative

WE ARE:

A 140 year old company who have a team of people who work together to manufacture office filing and storage equipment, door hardware and overhead conveyors. We make all types of metal fabrications in our own factory that are sold to other businesses to be used solving the storage needs of our customers. We will train the right person for this job and we will give you the support you need to learn the storage business. We will offer you life skills to build on and there are many different paths for advancement. We are looking to bring on a new hire to round out team and grow with our company.

YOU ARE:

Someone who has a fascination with how things work. You have either worked in Customer Service at a dealer or manufacturer and have proven customer relation skills. You can figure out how things fit together and have an interest in how things work together.

You can problem solve. If you do not know the answer, you are not afraid to ask someone who does or research to find out. If a customer needs to know what part they need for their project, you will find the solution for them. You do not give up easily and you enjoy helping people solve problems.

Job Description

Our Aurora Storage Customer Service you will assist our customers:

  • By phone, fax and email
  • Order entry
  • Product questions
  • Pricing
  • Inside sales opportunities
  • E-Commerce interface
  • Custom Design opportunities
  • Inventory management
  • Shipping arrangements
  • Order changes
  • Freight claims
  • Warranty claims

Skills

Education level: Associate's degree and/or minimum 2 years of manufacturing office experience.

· Technical skills preferable AS400 and/or SAP operating system (a plus).

· Microsoft Word; Microsoft Office; Excel; calculator; phone; copier, and scanner.

· Strong communication skills – able to communicate written and verbally with all levels of personnel.

· Ability to multitask and reprioritize responsibilities while working in a fast paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
