Upper Room Home Furnishings is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager for our Orleans location to play a pivotal role in supporting our sales operations and driving excellence within our team. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to oversee daily operations, provide leadership to our sales associates, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service. This position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 annually, supplemented by bonuses.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in managing daily sales operations, including scheduling, training, and supervision of sales associates.

· Support the Sales Manager in motivating and inspiring the sales team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding results.

· Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop strategies to increase sales and enhance profitability.

· Ensure every customer receives a positive shopping experience by providing assistance and guidance as needed.

· Help maintain a vibrant and organized sales floor environment to optimize customer engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales or management, preferably within the furniture, appliance, or automotive retail sectors.

· Passion for sales and customer service excellence, with a proven track record of success.

· Strong computer skills and proficiency with technology; familiarity with furniture software is a plus.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, in alignment with store hours (Monday-Friday: 10am-7pm, Saturday: 10am-6pm, Sunday: 11am-5pm).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
