Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, conducting site assessments, and guiding them through the installation process. Your expertise in energy sales and customer service will be essential in helping homeowners make informed decisions about solar energy systems that best fit their needs.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers through various channels, including door-to-door outreach and community events.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residential properties to determine suitability for solar installations.
- Provide detailed information on solar products, services, and benefits to customers.
- Develop customized solar solutions tailored to individual customer needs and preferences.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to installation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to enhance sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company database.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in energy sales or technical sales, preferably within the solar industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable but not required.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales while maintaining integrity and transparency.
- Previous experience with door-to-door sales is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.
- Familiarity with solar technology and market dynamics is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Pay: $103,009.00 - $120,829.00 per year
