TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Management & Sales: Efficiently navigate Central Ontario to minimize travel costs, identify opportunities, close sales, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Customer Relationship Building: Regularly engage with key clients to personalize relationships, foster loyalty, and provide value-added solutions for equipment and supply needs.
- Data & Project Management: Update and manage CRM systems, oversee customer projects, and ensure timely reporting and analysis for sales activities.
- Training & Development: Actively participate in training, share insights on sales strategies, and contribute to the development of marketing plans and tools.
- Collaborative Growth: Support continuous improvement efforts, communicate sales insights, and undertake additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
- P. Eng (Mechanical Engineering)
- 5 years of experience in a technical sales role, providing solutions directly to customers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software.
- Interpersonal communication skills. Listening skills.
- Negotiation skills and ability to close a sale.
- Analytical mind, autonomy, sense of responsibility and good time management.
- Results Orientation
This role is ideally suited for someone with experience selling to the pharmaceutical or food processing/packaging industries.
