The Howard Company is seeking a technical Pre-Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between technical expertise and our customer needs. This personwill work closely with the sales department to be a subject matter expert on our digital signage products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between sales, installation, and vendors to identify opportunities for products, professional services, and vendor alignment improvements.
- Serve as a solution advisor with our clients, with a core focus on assisting the sales team in developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Maintain expert knowledge of The Howard Company solutions to ensure customers have appropriate expectations for products and services.
- Lead customer demonstrations via webinars, in person, and trade shows and effectively close new business.
- Understand the market trends and specific needs for each market segment and/or region as well as be able to identify and communicate wins/challenges of the business internally and externally.
- Aid in customer technical support and preparing product for customer delivery when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent work-related experience.
- Extensive experience in technology and consumer experience with a strong background in AV.
- 3+ years of experience in a presales capacity, with a track record of success.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with clients, partners, and within the team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel on occasion to trade shows and customer locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
