Job Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing and aligning sales and marketing efforts. This role involves engaging with the community and customers, using direct sales techniques and community-focused marketing strategies to build relationships, generate leads, and boost sales. With experience in creating and executing sales strategies, managing teams, and using data to shape marketing campaigns, the manager is skilled in both traditional and digital marketing. The manager has strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets, enhancing the company’s brand, and acquiring customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and execute the sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets, focusing on both Business to Business and Business to Community opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and support their team, setting clear goals, providing training, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Develop Marketing Strategy: Create and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals, including brand positioning, market segmentation, and messaging.
- Community Engagement: Partner with other businesses, nonprofits, or local organizations to host events or community-driven campaigns to identify potential leads. Analyze community engagement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement that can inform lead generation efforts.
- Campaign Development: Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns (digital, content, social media, print, and events) to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content (e.g., website, social media).
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and potential market opportunities.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve the best ROI.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels and touchpoints, maintaining a strong and recognizable brand identity.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in sales and marketing. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in both sales and marketing, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Experience managing a sales team and a marketing budget.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.

- Work Environment: In Office
Travel Requirements: 25% travel from Austin to Laredo
Job Type: Full-time
