Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey in banking? As a New Accounts Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our branch, ensuring seamless account management and exceptional customer service.

Position Highlights:

  • Account Expertise: Handle the opening, maintenance, and closure of various account types. Whether it’s savings and checking accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), or Certificates of Deposit (CDs), you will be the go-to person for our customers.
  • Customer Relations: Your forte is building strong relationships. Engage with customers, explain financial services, and guide them through the account setup process.
  • Sales Enthusiast: Cross-selling our bank’s products and services will become second nature to you. Additionally, you will manage safe deposit boxes, ensuring our clients’ valuables are secure.
  • Detail-Oriented: Accuracy is crucial. You will meticulously record account information, address customer inquiries, and rectify any errors.
  • Compliance Champion: You are adept at navigating regulatory requirements. Obtain necessary clearances and adhere to established procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is essential. However, we are also open to candidates with equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Experience: One to two years of experience or relevant training puts you ahead of the game!
  • Attitude: We seek motivated and ambitious individuals who thrive on providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

As a New Accounts Representative, you will be the face of our bank. Your mission is to exceed expectations! You will handle account openings, maintenance, and closures with finesse and process all those exciting new account transactions.

  • Customer Relations: Building strong relationships with our customers is key. You will be their go-to person for all things banking-related.
  • Clerical Superstar: From paperwork to organization, you will handle it all like a pro.
  • Banking Experience: While not mandatory, it’s a definite plus. If you’ve got it, flaunt it!
  • Cash Handling: Prior experience in handling cash is essential and will set you up for success.
