Supervision
- Reports To: VP Sales
- Supervises inside and outside sales staff
- Primarily works independently overseeing business operations according to established procedures.
Position Purpose
Under the direction of the VP Sales, the purpose of this position is to successfully expand the Company’s market by hiring, onboarding, training, developing and directing the sales team, and expand revenues using proven systems, processes, procedures and reporting tools. The Sales Manager will be expected to identify and initiate improvement in these established systems to meet market idiosyncrasies when necessary. To ensure that business targets are attainable, the Sales Manager will assist and participate in developing the strategic direction and goals of the market, in addition to managing implementation, and measuring results of the sales team.
The Sales Manager will also plan, organize, present and sell Company products through multiple sales verticals targeting a diverse range of market segments.

- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in motivating and leading groups and developing productive relationships
- Ability to delegate responsibility and provide clear, consistent directives while effectively supporting continuous inspection and measurement techniques.
- Ability to recruit, hire, train and motivate an eager, energetic and effective sales staff
- Ability to review, evaluate and analyze information and drive results based on projections and planning
- Ability to travel both regionally and nationally as needed
- Excellent planning, organizational, communication and management skills
- Ability to interact with and support various customers and understanding their needs plus presenting a diverse range of solutions
- Computer literate, experienced with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Programs and familiar with use of CRM systems.
Education/Experience
· Minimum Bachelor Degree: Business helpful as well as Sales Training
· 5-year proven track record in sales management
· Successful sales career
· Comfort with and experience using CRM system
Experience with equipment sales will be very helpful.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working closely with customers, including manufacturers and suppliers, to ensure effective teamwork in delivering the best customer experience possible
- Promoting effective verbal and written communication throughout all levels of the organization
- Providing effective leadership that promotes a productive, cost-effective, safe and legal work environment where every member of the team achieves success and enjoys being a part of the company.
- Increasing productivity, sales coverage and revenue by managing and optimizing sales to reach defined goals and objectives
- Work with Marketing Director to develop advertising, public relations and marketing programs to reach business targets while maintaining budgeted costs and customer satisfaction goals
- Ensuring accuracy of sales agreements
- Planning and conducting sales meetings/trainings
- Conducting market and competitive analyses
- Sales calls and presentations
- Maintain knowledge of product offerings as well as competitive brands
- Such other duties as requested from time to time by management.
- Assist management in setting appropriate sales and operational goals and targets.
- Review and Submit accurate weekly call reports of Outside Sales Team via CRM system.
