Description:
The Director of Sales exists to meet Revenue and Gross Profit targets while providing leadership and management to salespeople for ACI Transport in this same pursuit. The Director of Sales will also work to ensure positive client relations and serve as a point of escalation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Hiring, coaching, and evaluating team members
- Train and develop sales employees
- Be responsible for sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) both mandated to the Director of Sales and created by the Director of Sales
- Ensure salespeople are backed up when out of the office to provide continuous service to their customers
- Connect with customers to ensure retention and overall satisfaction
- Provide "Inside Sales" functions to large scale "Managed Accounts" with no dedicated salesperson
- Attend mandatory meetings and facilitate meetings with the sales team
- Communicate internally with other department heads to ensure the success of won business
- Manage and update company CRM solution, as well as correct errors when discovered
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist salespeople and/or leaders with closing and executing business
- Assist with quoting individual moves or with creating quoted rates for proposals
- Assist with RFIs, RFPs, Contracts and other written communications needed for sales
- Develop processes for success and write Standard Operating Procedures so those processes are understood
- Attend industry conferences for educational, relational and sales purposes

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with the Windows OS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage time independently and effectively
- 5+ Years of outside sales experience
- 5+ Years of experience working in a CRM system
- 2+ Years of leadership experience
Suggested Competencies:
- 5+ Years of Outside Sales Experience in transportation and logistics
- 2+ Years of Leadership Experience in transportation and logistics
- 2+ Years of experience Managing a CRM system
- Experience Working with a TMS, ERP Systems, or other Business Management systems

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
