Summary/Objective

The PEO Sales Consultant is responsible for driving new client acquisitions by developing strong prospect and networking relationships. This role will also be very involved in ensuring client success by supporting and communicating throughout the implementation process.

Essential Functions

  • Identifies and develops strong client prospect relationships and provides quality service to drive new client acquisitions.
  • Presents complete and accurate packages (using Excel, Adobe and internal systems) to underwriting for approval and proposal.
  • Clearly communicates and presents all aspects of sales agreement and expectations during proposal process.
  • Delivers presentations that meet high quality standards.
  • Collaborates closely with Operations and Implementations to ensure successful client transitions and implementations post sale.
  • Attends and assists in all client implementation meetings, including online and on-site enrollment meetings.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date sales pipeline in HubSpot.
  • Accomplishes monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals as set forth in the SIP.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. The PEO Sales Consultant will be partially in the office and when remote must have a quiet workspace, stable internet connection and the ability to work without distractions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Sales experience in the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven track record of successful prospecting and cold calling.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient with HubSpot.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and have a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Ability to operate as a team-player with the Operations and Implementation teams.

Strong history of PEO Sales
