Our dental segment, HuFriedyGroup, enables dental professionals to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, drive compliance, and enhance patient and staff safety. How You Will Make a Difference:

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) must achieve annual sales objectives in a given geographical region. This committed salesperson must be able to achieve results through customer contacts and support activities and develop and nurture the long-term relationships that will assure continued success and growth for the company. The RAM will work with/indirectly manage 75-135 distributor reps who sell directly to dental practices. Additionally, the RAM will be responsible for calling on government, academic institutions & corporate DSO contacts, including meeting with C-suite personnel such as deans, heads of faculty and procurement decision makers.

This is a remote based Customer facing position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory, candidates must be based out of Phoenix, AZ area.

What You Will Do:

  • Achieve annual sales objectives/goals in a given geographical region through customer contacts and support activities to develop and nurture the long-term relationships that will assure continued success and growth for the company.
  • Prepare and present an annual strategic sales plan to management, with periodic updates as requested or as necessary. The plan must identify specific actions necessary to achieve sales goals.
  • Identify and develop special business relationships with dealer sales representatives and military/government/group accounts within assigned territory.
  • Introduce and establish new products to key customers, through co-working and other regular contacts at dental service organizations, dealer branches, schools, hospitals, and government institutions
  • Identify, attend and participate at conventions within the territory and throughout the country, when needed
  • Identify and develop strong business relationships with key personnel at academic institutions (Dental & Hygiene schools) to ensure continued sales growth
  • Present to groups of (100+) of dental professionals.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers, to develop long-term relationships, to help achieve corporate sales goals

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare
  • 5-7 years B2B sales experience required, preferably in the dental business. Clinical dental or dental sales is an asset
  • The ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in regard to significant business matters and duties.
  • Ability to accommodate a customary and regular travel schedule, including an overnight travel schedule, approximately 25-50% depending on territory. Also, must occasionally work weekends
  • Must have valid driver’s license and means of transportation to make sales calls

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 10+years of work experience within the dental industry in conjunction with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting is acceptable in lieu of a 4 year degree
  • 8+years of Sales experience selling technical products and/or compliance services
  • 5 years consistently achieving sales targets; recognized and awarded for results
  • Ability to accommodate a customary and regular travel schedule, including an overnight travel schedule, approximately 25-50% depending on territory. Also, must occasionally work weekends
  • Must have valid driver’s license and means of transportation to make sales calls
  • Proven ability to succeed in autonomous environment

Pay range for this opportunity is $90,000 - $100,000.00.This position is eligible for commission.


Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
