Job Description

As a United Auto Credit Area Sales Manager, you are responsible for signing, maintaining and growing UACC’s market share with both Independent and Franchise dealerships in your territory. Your ability to leverage the relationships you build makes you the single most important factor in growing our business, as well as using our state of the art technology, which includes our dealer-facing portal, The Fast Lane.

  • $51,047 Base Salary with Uncapped Commissions + $450 gas card monthly.
  • Top earners make well over $100k + in base and commissions!
  • To ensure your success, we provide you with the training, programs and technology necessary to help your dealers sell more cars and make more money.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Successful Area Sales Managers will...

  • Visit an average of 5-10 dealership daily:
  • Sign 3 to 5 new dealerships monthly, while retaining and growing the contracts funded with their current dealer relationships.
  • Train your dealers to utilize The Fast Lane to submit, restructure and to switch units, helping them find deals that work for them and their consumer.
  • Be an expert on all UACC programs, policies and ancillary products to consult/partner with F&I Managers to ensure maximum profitability for dealerships through the sale of UACC products.
  • Work closely with the Credit, Funding, Titles and Dealer Compliance Teams to resolve any dealership issues, ensure loan approvals and fast funding.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service to your dealer customers, which includes 24/7 availability.

  • The ability to work out of your home and travel daily (within a 60 mile radius) to call on dealers. (A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance are required.)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work Saturdays as needed out in the field.
  • Must be high energy and engaging - someone people enjoy working with.
  • Above average work ethic and drive with the ability to work independently.

Education/Experience

  • 2-5 years previous experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success.
  • Previous experience in Auto Finance, external sales roles, Independent dealerships and underwriting preferred but not mandatory.
  • Sub-prime auto finance experience is highly preferred.

Language Ability

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in person, in writing and by telephone
  • Bilingual is Spanish is a plus

Salary

  • Base Salary: $51,047 with Uncapped Commission
  • Top Earners exceed $100,000 annually!

Salary Phases

  • Phase 1: $70,800 base salary for the first 13 months
  • Phase 2: Base salary remains at $51,047 thereafter

Supplemental Pay Types

  • Uncapped Commission Pay
