This position is responsible for our initial contact and pre-qualification of potential Skillwork Clients. In this role, the ideal person provides critical administrative and personnel support activities that drive our internal Skillwork sales process. The primary focus for the CLS will be to identify new potential clients and take them through the sales process by qualifying, negotiating, and securing a signed Terms and Conditions with an accompanying work order.

The CLS’s core responsibilities include managing a variety of tools, processes, and applications that feed clients into the sales pipeline. To be successful in this role, a CLS must manage multiple clients in the sales pipeline and be able to focus and maintain attention to detail. They must be able to quickly adjust to the changing demands and priorities that ebb and flow daily. The role demands the ability to manage time well, meet objectives, and, at times, be willing to persist through repetitive tasks. The individual in this role is trusted with the great responsibility of qualifying clients that have the potential to become Skillwork Clients.

The ideal person filling this position is directly responsible for helping to create and foster the first-of-its kind business model in a fast-moving start-up company that values strong character, high energy, and work/life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Client Managers, Client Support Managers and Sales Leadership to understand and facilitate company growth through new client development.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the flow of the CLS pipeline into our /Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).
  • Identify resources that contain information for potential clients like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo etc.
  • Identify decision makers within the potential client’s organization and log the conversations, their internal contacts, and key points in the CRM.
  • Follow up leads created by Recruiting Team during reference checks and submitted resumes.
  • Be able to communicate and coordinate with internal staff.
  • Organize and schedule a variety of competing priorities – must be able to focus on the highest value activity.
  • Become an expert in the front-end application of our ATS/CRM tools.
  • Be a great team player and uphold Skillwork core values.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be a great listener.
  • Strong ability to acknowledge and respond to customers’ needs and objections.
  • Ability to work in CRM systems, manage databases, and facilitate automated workflows.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Good verbal communication ability.
  • Team player – willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • High integrity and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 applications, VOIP Telephony, and Internal process and workflow coordination.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with internal stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Organizational Management, Human Resource, IT Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Client Sales or External customer relations.
  • Experience in the Staffing Industry.
  • Experience in skilled trades.
  • Experience in an emerging or start-up company.

Compensation range provided in job posting reflects potential commission bonuses.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
