Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Account Servicing, the Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management, execution, and activation of corporate partnership accounts. They will also ensure complete delivery of all OSEG commitments, drive powerful marketing activations, and build long-lasting relationships with our partners.

What you'll do:

  • Manage approximately 30+ national and regional client relationships; execute partner contract deliverables, liaise day to day with key client stakeholders, develop and support execution of partner activations, provide on-going status and update reports as requested;
  • Develop and manage the execution of processes that ensure complete and effective fulfillment of corporate partnership accounts, including; partnership promotions, game-day activities, community programs, media asset fulfillment, ticket/hospitality requirements, and development of recap reports;
  • Lead the partnership department’s efforts as it relates to OSEG’s REDBLACKS Football business associated to season planning and game presentation;
  • As requested, may assist the Business Development team in achievement of defined revenue targets with specific focus on playing a support role in partnership renewals and existing partner upsells;
  • Analyze partner activation performance, makes sound strategic conclusions, and communicates them through the presentation of post season reports;
  • Administer the partnerships internship program, from selection process to guiding and mentoring the intern through training, and execution of partnership-related tasks;
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders (Marketing/Events/Digital/Analytics/ Communications and Ticketing) to ensure effective fulfillment and execution for all assigned accounts;
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors on all partner-related programs and initiatives, i.e. signage, website, events, promotional trips, hotel needs, tickets, merchandise, player appearances, etc;
  • Other duties as required by our fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What’s needed:

  • Completion of post-secondary degree in marketing, business, sports administration, or other related discipline;
  • 2-3 years of applied industry experience in partner fulfillment/servicing (corporate or agency);
  • Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry is advantageous;
  • Understanding of core marketing concepts, activating partnerships, valuation, program customization;
  • Skilled in building and fostering internal and external customer relationships;
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining formidable attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft programs: Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.;
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines;
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work extended hours during home games, events, weekends, holidays;
  • Must be in possession of a valid driver's license and have access to a motorized vehicle;
  • Minimal travel may be required;
  • Bilingual in English & French is an asset.
