Jaguar Land Rover Los Angeles is looking to add an Internal Service Advisor to our rapidly growing team!

As an Internal Service Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the repair and maintenance of vehicles brought in by the dealership to the service department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform a walk-a-round on vehicles upon arrival
  • Work with customer and technician to install accessory or after sale ad on needed.
  • Advise customers on necessary/suggested services.
  • Utilizing proper shop flow and technician dispatch.
  • Preparing accurate estimate for Sales Dept. on used car reconditioning & accessory add on.
  • Estimate cost of mechanical, electric, or other repairs
  • Enter itemized estimate on service order and explain estimate.
  • Determine progress of repair/service orders and inform Sales manager/used car manager accordingly
  • Ensure comprehensive re-delivery check of vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and that all items identified for service/repair have been carried out appropriately and on schedule.
  • Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with service manager
  • Establish positive relationships with customers
  • Referring the technician to the customer and/or test-driving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs.
  • Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair, considering the customers schedule
  • Address customer concern in a professional manner with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Previous Internal Service Advisor experience preferred.
  • Prior experience as an automotive technician a plus.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid drivers license in your state of residence.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalency, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
