COMPANY OVERVIEW:

InjureFree is a leader in the amateur sports safety and compliance management space with over 15 years of experience making amateur sports safer. InjureFree offers technology and professional services products to audiences across youth and amateur sports including Investigations Management, Safeguarding & Compliance Management, and Injury Management. These products aim to help sports organizations focus more on growing their organization and less time on the administrative functions.

WHO WE ARE SEEKING:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) with a passion for sports, your role extends beyond traditional sales responsibilities. Your dynamic nature and strong relationship-building skills will be crucial in engaging clients and identifying lucrative business opportunities. You will use your genuine enthusiasm for sports to connect with potential clients on a personal level. Understanding their needs and preferences, allowing you to tailor your approach accordingly. As a self - starter, you take initiative in your role by actively seeking out new leads and maintaining focus on achieving targets and objectives. You utilize your analytical skills to identify potential business opportunities by conducting thorough research and analysis to assess the viability and potential impact of each opportunity. You have a proven record of accomplishment highlighting your past successes and achievements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Generation:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for business development.
  • Use various channels (cold calling, email outreach, social media, etc.) to generate leads and initiate contact with potential clients.
  • Qualification:
  • Assess and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure they align with the company's target audience and business objectives.
  • Gather relevant information about potential clients to aid the sales team in the sales process.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through effective communication and follow-up strategies.
  • Understand the needs and challenges of potential clients to tailor communication and value propositions accordingly.
  • Appointment Setting:
  • Schedule appointments, product demos, or meetings for the sales team with qualified leads.
  • Provide necessary information and context to the sales team to enhance the effectiveness of appointments.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals and strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, progress, and challenges.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of lead generation strategies and make recommendations for improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Searching for candidates living in the State of Minnesota
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field OR the equivalent in work experience
  • 1 – 3 years of experience working in Inside Sales/BDR
  • Experience building long –term professional relationships
  • Proven track record exceeding growth goals in business development, lead generation, or sales
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management, internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt to different personalities
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Potential Travel (less than 10%)
  • Available to work weekends as needed

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years' experience working in sports industry
  • HubSpot knowledge/experience

COMPENSATION

We are committed to equitable compensation for all employees. The base salary for this role* is $50,000 with an OTE of $65,000 – $75,000 (no cap). Comp is updated based on multiple factors. Our comp is highly competitive in our space, and we adjust overall comp based on relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
