Solutions Sales Consultant, Inside Sales
The Solutions Sales Consultant, Inside Sales, markets hardware-focused solutions and services to targeted small and medium sized corporate accounts. The role is mandated to drive sales revenue by converting pre-generated leads, growing existing customer base (cross-selling) as well as penetrating Zero Based Accounts (ZBA).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales revenue targets
- Maintain and expand assigned customer portfolio by nurturing business relationships as a trusted advisor and strategic partner
- Prepare customer presentations and business proposals that align to Ricoh’s value proposition
- Customize product and service solutions based on customer value proposition
- Review sales leads and uncover opportunities throughout sales cycles
- Provide sales updates and progress reports to Sales Manager with regular cadence
- Utilize core Sales systems and resources including Salesforce (SFDC), Hoover, Power BI, LinkedIn
- Stay up to date with industry knowledge and trends including new products, services and pricing/payment plans
- Engage support resources as needed to problem solve enroute to resolution
- Prioritize and manage multiple deliverables while achieving objectives
- Participate, contribute and own overall team success
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Required: 1-3 years of direct sales experience in a Business-to-Business (B2B) context
- Preferred: Prior experience in Inside Sales roles
- Preferred: Prior experience in Technology, Hardware, Information Technology sectors
- Preferred: Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
Skills:
- Strong business acumen; ability to effectively interpret and transmute business information to potential development opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to quickly develop business relationships with both customers and stakeholders virtually or in-person
- Proficient negotiation skills; ability to tactfully influence, handle objections and problem solve
- Seasoned presentation skills; ability to create and tell compiling stories
- Robust technical fluency; with working knowledge of business applications (e.g. MS Office), Customer Relationship Management tools (e.g. Salesforce) and other research tools
- Sound analytical mindset; ability to understand and make meaning of numbers and data
- High degree of self-accountability and drive for success
- Time management and prioritization skills
