Job Description

The position will represent Atlas Machine in promoting products and services including compressed air and vacuum equipment, system controls, engineering services, rental equipment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop key accounts and find new opportunities utilizing a strategic plan
  • Work closely with all team members in a collaborative sales effort
  • Work closely with key OEM suppliers to offer the best possible solutions
  • Interpret relevant specifications, select equipment and insure product suitability
  • Develops solutions in the field of compressor and vacuum equipment
  • Prepares quotations and presents proposals as required
  • Submits periodic reports to the Sales Director defining and prioritizing selling strategies which will lead to business growth and development
  • Analyzes specifications and drawings in order to comprehend scope of request

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: College degree (High school diploma with applicable experience may be considered)
  • Three to five years of related experience in industrial equipment sales (preferably air compressor experience)
  • An aptitude and proven record in developing leads, interpreting requirements, through to presenting bids and negotiating contracts
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Requires excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Requires strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Flexible scheduling is necessary
  • Willing to travel within the assigned territory 80% of the time
