Job Title: Sales Account Manager
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Typical Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to lead B2B sales efforts and build strong relationships with commercial, institutional, and municipal clients. This role involves engaging with C-suite executives in sustainability, marketing, and management to guide them through a 6–18 month sales cycle. The ideal candidate will identify sales opportunities, close significant deals, and ensure client satisfaction by offering tailored solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and close strategic sales opportunities that align with customer sustainability and branding goals.
  • Develop and present customized presentations that highlight the value of our solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, targeting new clients and nurturing relationships to generate repeat business and testimonials.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ensure messaging and product positioning are consistent.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market incentives, and competitive movements to provide knowledgeable advice to customers.
  • Consistently exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth.
  • Work closely with leadership and report directly to the President.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Success: Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in company branding, renewable energy, distributed generation, or other high-impact sectors.
  • Account Development Expertise: Strong ability to cultivate client relationships, manage time effectively, and close high-value deals.
  • Diverse Background: Experience working with small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and high-growth sectors.
  • Strategic and Critical Thinking: Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and follow-through on tasks.
  • Driven and Collaborative: Self-motivated with a passion for working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Persuasive, empathetic, and highly effective in both verbal and written communication.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Education and Mobility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, with the ability to travel within the sales territory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
