Bankston Motor Homes is a thriving family-owned dealership in business for 53 years and looking to add a Sales Manager to our team. The Sales Manager leads a sales team to create an exceptional experience for customers. This role is responsible for selecting, training, coaching, developing, and retaining the very best Sales Associates for the store, and driving a high-level of performance among the sales team to increase market share, achieve targeted unit sales and profit margins, while creating memories with customers along the way.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Engage and motivate the sales team to achieve key goals
- Drive the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations
- Managing the negotiation process with Sales Associates, ensuring that customers understand their RV purchase options
- Appraising pre-owned RVs for trade
- Facilitate sales plans, marketing plans, ongoing training and development.
- Assist in the operation of an efficient and effective dealership, while continuing to build a strong customer relationship base.
- Establish short- and long-term goals and sales strategies for the department
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sales training and coaching skills Customer Service or Sales Experience
- RV knowledge and RV sales experience, helpful
- Excellent Computer skills a must
- Strong training and closing skills
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
- Valid Driver’s License with clean, insurable, driving record
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-4 years of Dealership Sales experience is preferred.
- Proven experience of sales and customer satisfaction
