Position Overview
The position of Director of Business Development consists of driving JMI’s revenue, seeking and developing new business possibilities, and establishing and growing the Company’s and its partners’ presence. The Director of Business Development will work closely with the Senior Leadership team on executing the Company’s overall strategic growth goals. This role also includes client account management of key relationships and is often seeking opportunities to grow the relationship. The Director of Business Development creates and nurtures long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure partnerships are developed and maintained to increase our services in the communities we serve.
Tasks

Business Development (Primary)
· Lead and drive business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding the firm’s market presence.
· Partner with senior leadership to develop marketing strategies, define service offerings, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
· Actively engage with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
· Work across the organization to champion team collaboration and joint presentations for internal and external clients.
Account Management (Secondary)
· Serve as the primary contact for clients, understanding their best business goals and objectives while ensuring profitability and growth.
· Identify, develop, and convert opportunities with existing clients.
· Develop and execute strategic plans to meet client needs and objectives.
· Monitor client satisfaction through regular check-ins and feedback sessions.
· Maintain a detailed awareness of relevant market trends affecting assigned accounts, and developments in the broader advertising and communications industry.
· Reports key financial and team data to the agency’s senior leadership.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years business development experience within the advertising industry.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proven track record in managing and growing client accounts.
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
