Purpose of the Job:
Facilitates successful equipment rentals by managing all rental services and coordinating the transportation of heavy construction equipment, components and attachments while maintaining a positive professional relationship with customers, vendors and employees.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist Territory Account Representatives in securing successful equipment rentals by coordinating basic functions of the Rental Department at assigned location.· Monitor utilization of the rental fleet to ensure each unit is achieving its budgeted targets for revenue and profitability.· Qualify, maintain, and update customer account and asset information utilizing CRM system· Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service, while promoting a positive team-oriented environment.· Correspond with customers and BLE personnel regarding availability of equipment and rental fees.· Responsible for reserving rental equipment as per customer needs and BLE availability.· Answer branch calls and assists with “Will Call” customers and vendors.· Coordinate trucking for all deliveries, pickups and transfers.· Accountable for preparation and completion of rental forms and contracts, including obtaining customer signatures.· Prepare and process rental invoices, including recurring cycle billings.· Process all new and recurring re-rental transactions.· Advise on any potential customer credits.· Serve as main point of contact for “Off Rents” called in by customer/ BLE Salesmen.· Manage existing rental contracts to ensure a high level of customer service on equipment.· Manage efficiency of haul trucks to maximize company truck utilization and minimize outside haulers.· Coordinate resolution for customer invoice issues, including sales tax issues.· Monitor overdue contracts and communicates status to executive management.· Coordinate with Sales Department to increase rental revenue.· Work with Service Department to ensure equipment damages by customers are identified and billed accordingly· Manage all internal and external BLE equipment audits.· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form.· Comply with government safety and regulation requirements.· Comply with BLE safety and regulation requirements.· Attend department, store and safety meetings.

· Perform other duties as requested.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
· 3 + years previous equipment rental experience preferred.
· Proficient in Wynne System and Microsoft Office including: Word and Excel
Knowledge of frequently used Sales and Customer Relations Concepts, Practices and Procedures
Travel: 20%
