Spectra Logic develops and markets a full range of data management and data storage solutions for a hybrid-cloud world. The company helps organizations manage, migrate, store and preserve business data long-term, along with providing features to make them ransomware resilient, whether on-premises, in a single cloud, across multiple clouds or in all locations at once.
Independent Enterprise Sales Representative:
Yourfocus is on a consultative approach to selling that informs and teaches customers and prospects about the business values of our solutions. We help customers to transition and build out long-term strategies to manage and protect structured and unstructured data “digital gold” that is the crown jewels of any business.
Canada (except British Columbia and Yukon):
We are seeking a professional sales leader, who is confident, self-motivated individual to join our industry recognized, award winning sales organization. This person should be entrepreneurial, growth and profit-oriented who can communicate an innovative message to customers on our solutions. You will be prospecting and developing within that territory by selling primarily through VAR to end-users. You'll work the entire sales pipeline from prospecting for new business, managing installed customers to closing.

Experience:
We are seeking an individual who possesses the following qualities:

  • A leader / consultative professional that will understand, engage & teach customers how our solutions can complement their business challenges! (The Challenger Sales methodology)

  • Ability to build and manage strategic collaborations and networking with top tier VARs and alliance partners in territory.

  • At least 5+ years selling data management solutions (software, hardware, cloud, & professional services).

  • Hunter mentality and proven track record of prospecting and selling referenceable solutions to medium / large enterprise customers.

  • Direct knowledge of key accounts and contacts in the territory.

  • A proven history of consistently exceeding sales targets


Territory / Location: Canada (except British Columbia and Yukon)
Education: Business or Technical College Degree
Travel: As needed to represent the business
Status: While you will be directly managed by our team at Spectra Logic, your legal employer will be Globalization Partners, who will handle your payroll, benefits, and ensure compliance with Canadian labor regulations.
Compensation: Salary + commission
