Role overview:

SimpliGov is expanding its sales team and is seeking a Solutions Engineer to own and enhance the customer experience, from the proof-of-concept to the final decision. This technical individual will provide pre-sales engineering support to our sales team, be a trusted advisor to our customers/partners, and play a critical role in designing technical solutions. They will be a key factor in the success of their sales team and our organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the SimpliGov technical Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor to key customer stakeholders.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to effectively understand and navigate customer requirements.
  • Gain insight into customer goals and challenges, aligning them with the capabilities of the SimpliGov platform.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to evaluate and qualify customer opportunities, crafting and demonstrating innovative solutions to address their challenges.
  • Lead product demonstrations and deliver engaging presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Capable communicator with a responsibility to respond to RFPs.
  • Participate in industry events and user groups as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a presales solutions consultant, sales engineer, or similar role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong presentation abilities.
  • Proven solutions engineering skills with an eye for detail and follow-through.
  • Analytical problem-solver, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Self-starting and self-motivated.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $110,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
