Lead luxury hotel sales and exceed revenue goals through exceptional customer relationships and sales strategies. As Senior Group Sales Manager, you will manage a portfolio of corporate and leisure accounts to drive group business. Leverage your experience in the upscale hospitality industry to negotiate contracts, craft custom proposals, and provide top-notch service that keeps clients returning time and time again.
Key Responsibilities
- Surgically target and build rapport with high-profit corporate and event planners through in-person meetings, industry events, and digital outreach
- Develop dynamic sales proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to each client's unique needs and budget
- Negotiate contracts terms to maximize average daily rates while retaining loyal customers
- Coach and mentor a dedicated sales team to consistently exceed sales quotas through best-in-class client service
- Analyze market trends and competitors to refine sales strategies that keep your hotel and resort at the forefront of the luxury industry
- Oversee all details for client events from initial booking through on-site logistics to ensure seamless, delightful experiences
- Exceed annual sales targets through meticulous pipeline management and consistent prospecting
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the luxury hotel or resort industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals through relationship-building and solution-oriented negotiations
- Expertise crafting and delivering custom proposals and presentations tailored for each client profile
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
- College degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field preferred
- Advanced proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft 365 tools for prospecting and client management
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States
