Job Description

Assured Senior Living Residential Care Communities is accepting applications for a Senior Living Sales Consultant who will focus on growing community occupancy and increasing the awareness of our assisted living, memory care and traumatic brain injury communities, all while building trust with prospective residents and their families each step along the way.

* Please note, prior experience in Senior Living Sales is required. Applicants without experience in the senior living industry need not apply.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintains and/or improves upon the occupancy level of all Houses in accordance with the marketing and business plans. Will utilize established sales processes, start-up and manage CRM system, track information, compile data and reports, and achieve desired occupancy goals.
- Manages the marketing process by assisting prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors in the decision-making process by understanding their needs and educating them about the community’s services and programs.
- Responds promptly to every telephone call, and email from outside referral sources. - - Completes weekly follow-up calls, letters, and marketing visits as defined by each House marketing plan.
- Coordinates and completes all activities needed for a qualified marketing referral and converts and assists qualified referrals to move-ins, including but not limited to, visiting the prospect’s home, health care providers, or other locations to conduct initial assessments or sales presentations.
- Keeps management and other key associates abreast of the status of all prospective move-ins/referrals. Tracks and records pre-residency steps to facilitate communication.
- Contacts local sources including legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, retirement communities, clergy, medical insurance providers, and other local community contacts that are part of the business development coordinator/director referral contacts. Manages the business development activities noted above.
- Develops and maintains relationships with and generates leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources on a weekly basis. Provides information and conducts presentations about community services and programs, market advantages, availability, and other relevant information to meet the needs of prospective referral sources and community groups.
- Effectively manage sales and marketing inventory collateral.
Represents Assured Senior Living and increases awareness through participation in outside events, professional groups, and community involvement in the local markets.
- Follows up and executes sales process with all leads from outside events.
- Assist management with resident retention through new resident welcome events, resident referral programs, outside community visits to current hospitalized residents, and other programs.
- Partner with management to develop and execute marketing plans and achieve community occupancy goals. Researches and provides recommendations for content and delivery of brochures, flyers, press releases, and other forms of media that promote Assured Senior Living services.
- Collects and analyzes data to prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Maintains working knowledge of lead management system/CRM and uses the system to maximize sales effectiveness. Inputs all sales and marketing activities into CRM in a timely manner and according to systems standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed

Required Skills/Experience:

- Must have experience in a senior living work setting, in a community in a regional capacity
- Must be willing and able to work beyond normal business hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
- Acceptable motor vehicle check required
- Must have basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, other web-based programs, e.g.)
- Must be able to read, and write English
- Must be willing and able to work with and relate to the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within our memory care, and TBI Houses

* Compensation includes base salary + commission of $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually, plus a monthly car stipend.
