mdf commerce Inc . is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.
Working in the ecommerce sector, we are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team at Orckestra .
What will your main responsibilities look like?
In this role, you will be led to:
- Develop account strategies and collaborate with virtual teams on strategic planning and deal execution, all the while creating optimal conditions for customer base satisfaction
- Develop and execute a 1-3-year strategic plan for each customer.
- Ensure account optimization by driving revenue growth and securing new projects and incremental service opportunities.
- Responsible for specific sale quotas and account development, as well as planning and profiling strategies
- Build relationships at the executive level—CIO, CMO, CEO, and develop relationships within IT and the VP Line of Business and ensure referencability.
- Work effectively with distributed teams, take strategic direction from opportunity owners and take team member input into account and act as the client advocate on the project implementation and ongoing evolution.
- Create presentations and present them to IT executives and different lines of business to deepen understanding of product offering.
- Deliver our value proposition and generate new projects through events, effective marketing tactics, negotiation, financial analysis, business process consulting and automation.
- Manage processes and activities around the existing client to drive revenue.
- Improves client’s satisfaction through improved communication and offering.
- Build solid relationships to understand our most valued client’s business needs and strategic goals.
- Work closely with Product Management team to make sure that everything goes smoothly for the client, both in the implementation process and then throughout the relationship.
- Manage, negotiate and execute client contracts.
What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?
- Passion for customer success and for working cross-functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results.
- Ability to translate complex technical information in Layman’s terms.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to present efficient solutions, clearly and concisely Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Regional travel is required for this role (approximately 30%) by land and/or air.
- High comfort level and presence with senior executives.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and French, command of another language an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in Business, Computer Science or other related disciplines.
- 5 years in sales/account management with major accounts in the IT industry, preferably in digital/omnichannel commerce or in Complex Software solutions.
