Cloud Solutions Architect use their technical knowledge of cloud services to design and implement scalable, robust systems on the (AWS) cloud platform.II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience: 12 Required.
Expertise in operating system such as Red Hat Linux and Windows: 10 years.
Required Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS: 10 years.
Required Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle: 10 years.
Collaborate with the different technical and nontechnical teams to develop and implement robust cloud solutions: 10 years.
Select appropriate AWS services based on data, compute, database, or security requirements: 10 Years.
Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud: 8 years.
Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on cloud infrastructure 8 years.
Assess the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications as necessary: 8 years.
Educate on architectural principles and best practices on various technical levels: 8 years.
Ensure solutions and infrastructures align with TIERS’ security standards: 8 years.
Lead technical and design discussions to help speed of new technologies and practices: 8 years.
Working knowledge of storage and backup solutions provided by AWS: 8 years.
Experience ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow: 8 years.
Experience managing Archer GRC: 8 years.
PREFERRED:
Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, and among other standard networking protocols: 5 years.
General knowledge of database software such are Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres etc: 5 years.
Knowledge of identity and access management as well as additional cybersecurity principles: 5 years.
Keep abreast of the newest cloud computing developments and work to improve the organization's cloud infrastructure: 5 years.
