Job Description
We are searching for an experienced Catering Sales Manager in the Rockford area who will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our clients.
- Develop, solicit and strategically manage existing accounts and drive new revenue for all Catering Events. General focus on identifying and generating new Catering Clients through online research, monthly personal offsite sales calls and mandatory sales blitz and weekly site tours.
- Prospect local non-profits and charities, local corporations and associations to increase private event revenue by creating strategic partnerships.
- Sell merchandise and up-sell food and beverage related to catering events.
- Report and work directly with General Manager & Director of Sales to write and implement quarterly sales and marketing game plans to achieve catering sales budget.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure successful events and drive repeat business.
- Creativity in developing new experiences driving customer engagement.
- Five years of previous event sales experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle pressure with poise and finesse.
- Positive attitude, outgoing and friendly personality.
- Strong leadership skills and a professional image.
