Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual to join our Key Account Sales Team. This role will focus on targeting new business, managing current accounts, driving sales while also assisting with coordination tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Management:
- Research and target new retailers
- Manage large multistore retailers
- Work closely with outside independent sales representatives
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Identify opportunities for expanding product assortment at retailers
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Attends regional and national shows
- Conduct analyses of sales data to identify trends and opportunities
Account Coordination:
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and requests
- Coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with sample orders, planogram development and other administrative tasks as needed
- Monitor account activities and address any issues promptly
- Manage Key Account Tracker and update with financials
- Create and distribute supporting documents and presentations to help the sales team in general business leads
- Maintain organized sales record and report monthly goal setting to management
Job Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Work Experience: Five (5) years preferred in a related field
- Compliance: Must adhere to company policies and procedures
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Excel spreadsheets using VLOOKUP and pivot tables
o Understanding of retailer portals and setting up items
o Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related field
o Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
o Ability to present in front of large groups of people
o Ability to multitask and prioritize
o Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
o Ability to execute and follow through a sales plan
o A positive, professional, and proactive attitude
o Planning and organizational skills
o Works well within a team
Working Conditions
- Environment: Office environment.
- Exposure: Low or moderate noise level.
- Physical Requirements: Sitting at a desk, using a telephone, using a keyboard, using a computer monitor for sometimes long and continuous periods of time.
- Physical Efforts: Occasionally standing, walking, reaching, and stooping. Lifting up to 30 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
