The Role

As an IT Application Analyst you will help manage enterprise software environments by providing maintenance, security and account management, troubleshooting issues, and overall administration. In addition, you will assist with developing new system due diligence and discovery. This position will use Service Desk and Project Management applications for managing issues and tasks at all levels, and for collaboration with the Apps team. Interface and interaction with vendor teams and their support systems, to escalate and resolve issues is a requirement. Daily work will consist of meeting SLA expectations on all supported enterprise software support

requests submitted by business users.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all applications and systems run smoothly in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
  • Support users of PC’s, Macs, Tablets, and other forms of computing equipment.
  • Support all business applications across 15 casino properties (AP/AR, POS, CMS, Hotel, Gaming, Compliance. Tax/T31, Mkt Promo, Mobile, EDW, AS400) .
  • Ensure SLAs are met - Manage deliverables for critical applications by working with Business users and understand the IT/business SLA’s.
  • Troubleshoot Major Incidents, involving all necessary teams, create post mortems, and ensure closure of incidents.
  • Work closely with Corp IT teams to incorporate active maintenance and rollswap schedules.
  • Monitor and support production applications and environments both gaming and non-gaming.
  • Research issues to ensure service level agreements are met, and research application, data, and database related issues.
  • Collaborate with Support Desk on incidents/issue triages and release/change review meetings as well as identify enhancements for application support.
  • Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed (outages).
  • Assist the Applications team with projects and new deployments.
  • Create and develop documentation and standards for maintaining, testing, and supporting corporate applications.
  • Coach or manage project teams as applicable.
Qualifications
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Thorough PC desktop computer hardware, Windows Desktop OS (all current versions) and printer troubleshooting skills required.
  • Solid client level TCP/IP knowledge and moderate network troubleshooting skills are a must.
  • Previous experience with Agilysis Point of Sales systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience with AS/400 and OS/400 systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience supporting a large user community (500 users +), and a minimum 5 years of IT related support is highly desirable.
  • Previous IT experience in a casino is highly desirable.
  • Experience with remote access in a Windows environment
  • Experience maintaining vendor relationships, including the purchase of hardware and software products is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of internet connectivity, printer connectivity, and help desk disciplines.
  • Experience with desktop performance monitoring, network connectivity, problem diagnosis, desktop management, and remote administration.
  • Experience with managing Windows-based PCs from setup to deployment and networking to machine diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with Windows Local Admin security and Windows Active Directory
  • Experience with remote monitoring and administration tools, technologies such as remote desktop VPN technologies
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced working environment where working with deadlines is imperative.

Target Salary Range
  • $77,000 Annual Salary
