Financial Reporting Specialist (Contract)

Our client is on the search for a Financial Reporting Specialist (Contract) to join their team! Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical accounting abilities in financial report & MD&A preparation. Your success will be defined by your ability to:

· Execute hands-on preparation of the IFRS based financial statement package.

· Maintain financial statements quality control: footing, note disclosures, etc.

· Liaison with the various subsidiaries to gather inputs for deliverables.

· Prepare accounting research memos, special projects, and other tasks as required

Your strengths include:

· CPA designation

· Strong technical accounting and Excel skills

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Public practice experience is an asset

· Ability to start quickly
