We have an exciting new opportunity for an Account Specialist in our Commercial Lines Department at Tedford Insurance.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Account Specialist will ensure the efficient management of insurance accounts, both for new business and renewals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, coworkers, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations.
Reviewing accounts for necessary coverages, working closely with Agents to develop renewal and new business plans, managing timelines and providing accurate proposals and billing services.
Confirming accuracy of files and supporting various other departments in their respective tasks.
Respond to client requests for information, documents, and general insurance related inquiries.
Performs other related duties as assigned which may be necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AMS and/or related software.
Proficient in typing and data entry.
Manage workflow efficiently and set priorities to ensure accurate and timely processing of all transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results.

EDUCATION, LICENSES AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of five years experience of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
Must have a valid Oklahoma Property & Casualty Insurance license.
Required to have one of the following certifications:
